Families, Couples, Sisters, Friends! Folks who haven't made anything before -- EVER! At a time convenient for your schedule and at a price that suits your budget. We are flexible! Sessions usually last 3 – 5 hours at a mutually-agreed-upon date. If you Start with a “Blank”, you’ll choose a piece that I’ve cut out and carved the bowl or sanded the flat of the spatula , so the cost is lower and the process takes less time. Each blank costs $20 - $30. I will demonstrate the process that goes into making the blank. “Starting from Scratch” means you choose a piece of wood and create your own pattern. Combination of Blank/Scratch is possible Pricing:
1 person: $175 plus the cost of the Blank $225 if we start from Scratch 2 people: $310 plus the cost of the Blanks $160-$170 each including Blanks $400 from Scratch $200 each from Scratch 3 people: $400 plus the cost of the Blanks $153 - $163 each including Blanks $555 from Scratch $185 each from Scratch 4 people: contact me about pricing Discounts will be offered to our newsletter subscribers, family/friend groups and for "frequent flyers". Scholarships and financial aid will be available. Contributions to the scholarship fund are welcome. |
![]() Booking a Class: I prefer email-- [email protected] but you can call-- 860-974-3504 You'll learn how to safely use our specialized power tools, and with guidance, customize your piece to fit your own hands. You might want to highlight a special spot in your home, create a souvenir from your trip to the woods or give the class as a gift. Who Can Come Kids under 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Beginners are welcome! Everyone must sign an insurance waiver before participating. ** Covid-19 restrictions: Tom and I have had both of our vaccines. Even so, everyone who visits will be masked. My teaching methods require hands-on or close-contact instruction with the student. In order to prevent the spread of COVID19, and to protect our students, ourselves, our friends and family, we appreciate your honesty and cooperation in informing us about contact. Accessibility While we do have wheelchair ramps that we put up when needed, our tools can only be reached from stools. We will make every effort to accommodate specific needs, but please contact Meb first before booking. |
