They’ve done our printing since the beginning: tags, handouts, artist cards. often last-minute (my fault!) but always just right.

Bet Zimmerman, for THIS new site and her calm navigation of the intricacies of the Internet. She worked with us to redesign our original, homemade website.

Markets of NY City

Markets of New York City

Karen Seiger has written a fun book, Markets of New York City, and a weekly blog. Go directly to her blog. In April, she blogged "Meb Boden and Tom Vaiciulis, proprietors of Meb’s Kitchenwares, make gorgeous and practical wooden kitchen tools by hand from carefully selected New England hardwoods, some from their own back yard! Each piece is one-of-a-kind. And the way they feel in your hand, well, you’ll want to stir soups and puddings all day long. Their cutting boards with wooden inlays are equally wonderful, from the one with a Labrador silhouette to the painter’s pallet. I adore the fish-shaped oven pull James gave me for Christmas. They also make items especially for all you lefties."

Mrs. Bridges

Mrs Bridges

Thanks to a suggestion from Mrs. Bridges, we now make a lovely teapot cheese board. You can purchase them locally at their gift shop in Woodstock CT, when you stock up on their British goodies and lovely teas.

Perfect Pantry

The Perfect Pantry

Years ago, Lydia (chef, cooking teacher, food writer and spoon collector—over 300 from all over the world)— spent the day in the workshop, first selecting the right piece of wood, then creating a pattern from the best features from five of her favorite spoons. It was a great day for both of us—she had a unique spoon, and we gained much insight into what people who cook A LOT expect from a spoon.

CERF

Craft Emergency Relief Fund

We in the Craft arena are lucky to have an organization like the Craft Emergency Relief Fund. They help craft artists by providing grants, no-interest loans and a network of support after career-threatening emergencies. They helped Tom and me during Tom's bout with colon cancer. I was able to hire helpers to do Tom's work as he successfully went through treatment, and, more recently after our cabin fire. By helping CERF, you help others like us to keep working.

Taylor Brooke Winery

We pass their vineyards daily on our way into town. Try their delicious dessert wines. The gorgeous labels feature paintings by local artist Tom Menard.
